Dr. Pratt Manning

Dr. Kendra Pratt Manning, DDS, MS, is the Board-Certified orthodontist and owner of Manning Orthodontics, serving children, teens, and adults in The Woodlands, Magnolia, and Montgomery, Texas. Known for combining advanced clinical expertise with a warm, family-focused approach, Dr. Manning is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles while respecting each family’s time and treatment goals. Education & Advanced Training

Dr. Manning is a proud local graduate of Magnolia High School, where she was valedictorian and actively involved in athletics. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, then continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduated as Valedictorian with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She went on to complete her orthodontic residency and Master of Science degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she served as Chief Resident during her first year and authored a published article in the American Dental Journal. Dr. Manning scored in the top 2 percent in the nation on her written Board Certification exam and achieved full Diplomate status through the American Board of Orthodontics, using patients from her private practice for her clinical exam.

Recognition & Professional Associations

Dr. Manning is the first female orthodontist in The Woodlands and has been voted an Outstanding Dentist in Texas for the past fourteen years. She is a member of the Woodlands Rotary Club and is a chartering founder of the Southwest Montgomery County Lions Club. Dr. Manning is also involved with the Healthcare Advisory Board for Magnolia High School and supports local schools through community-focused giving initiatives. Professionally, she maintains active membership and involvement with respected organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontics, the Southwest Society of Orthodontists, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, along with alumni associations connected to Texas Christian University and the University of Texas orthodontic programs.

Board-Certified Expertise

As a Board-Certified orthodontist and Certified Invisalign Preferred Provider, Dr. Manning offers comprehensive orthodontic care for kids, teens, and adults, including modern metal braces, self-ligating braces, clear ceramic braces, and clear aligners. She also provides specialty treatments such as early Phase I treatment, habit appliance therapy, Forsus appliances for overbites, and custom mouthguards and night guards. Dr. Manning is also licensed by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and offers injectable treatments for TMD and bruxism, as well as facial esthetic services for concerns like gummy smiles and headaches.

Life Beyond the Office

Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Manning enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Their family time often includes cooking, watching college football, attending church, and enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys running, baking, community service, and spending time with her two mini Australian shepherds.
